Mission: The Mattoo Center for India Studies at Stony Brook University (founded in 1997) aims to promote a better appreciation of Indian thought, culture and civilization by developing expertise and resources for studying India for the benefit of the university and the community.
Your donation will support programs of the Mattoo Center for India Studies, including courses on Indian languages and culture, lectures by visiting scholars, conferences, student scholarships, the India library, outreach programs, research and publications and performing arts initiatives. It will fund new initiatives, such as faculty resources on the Indians in the U.S., courses on heritage languages and study abroad programs in India.
